- 6 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup brandy
- 1/2 tspns (or more) nutmeg
- 6 egg whites
Beat the egg yolks with a wire whisk and add the sugar slowly. Beat this mixture until it is light and lemon colored.
Add the milk, the nutmeg, and the brandy. Last fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites.
