- 2 eggs
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup melted butter
- 1 cup cocoanut
- 1 cup chopped nuts, not fine
- 1 cup cut-up dates or figs
- 2 cups flour
- 4 cups rolled oats, uncooked
- 1 1/2 tspns baking powder
- 1/2 tspn soda with 4 tbspns hot water
Will be very stiff and dry. Drop by spoonful in cookie tins, and shape. Bake in moderate oven.
