Luau Sweet Potato Casserole (1965)

  • 6 cups mashed, cooked sweet potatoes
  • 3 cups crushed pineapple
  • 2 tspns seasoned salt
  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tspn nutmeg
Melt butter and combine with all ingredients except nutmeg.  Spread into casserole dish and sprinkle on nutmeg.

Bake 45 minutes at 375 degrees. Serve in individual cups or large shells for luau.
