Candy Easter Eggs (1950)

  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sifted confectioner's sugar
Blend sweetened condensed milk and brown sugar thoroughly. Cook over boiling water 4 minutes or until mixture thickens.

Remove from heat and add vanilla and confectioner's sugar gradually. Blend thoroughly.  

Form into balls, and decorate with tiny candies and fruits.  Make 2.
