Filling:
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tbspns flour
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 eggs
- 1 tspn vanilla
- 2 cups pecans. chopped
Brownies:
- 1 21-1/2 oz package fudge brownie mix
- 1/2 cup very hot oil
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 egg
Grease the bottom of a 13-x-9-inch pan. In a saucepan, melt butter, then stir in flour until smooth. Add brown sugar and 2 eggs; mix well. Cook over medium-low heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, and stir in vanilla and pecans. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine brownie ingredients and beat with a spoon. Spread in prepared pan. Spoon filling over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Do not over bake. Cool and cut into bars. Yields 24 bars.
