- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 4 tbspns molasses
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tspns baking soda
- 1/4 tspn salt
- 1 tspn cinnamon
- 1 tspn ginger
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix oil and 1 cup sugar, add egg, and beat well. Stir in molasses.
Sift in dry ingredients. Drop better by teaspoonfuls into 1/4 cup sugar, and form ball coated with sugar.
Place on cookie sheet 3 inches apart. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Yields 3 dozen.
