Yogurt Carrot Drop Biscuits (1975)

  •  1 cup sifted flour
  • 1/2 tspn salt
  • 1/4 tspn baking soda
  • 1/2 tspn baking powder
  • 2 tbspns butter
  • 1/4 cup carrots, shredded and chopped
  • 1/2 cup yogurt
Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in butter,, then add carrots.

Add yogurt, mixing just to moisten. No kneading is required. Drop from spoon onto greased baking sheet or on top of individual casseroles as a crust. 

Bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 12.
