- 4 cups sugar
- 3 cups fresh pumpkin
- 1 cup oil
- 1 tspn cloves
- 1 tspn cinnamon
- 1 tspn salt
- 4 tspns baking soda
- 2 cups chopped apples
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 5-1/2 cups flour (if using canned pumpkin, use 5 cups flour)
Grease 2 loaf pans, line with paper, and grease again. Mix together the pumpkin, sugar, and oil. Add and stir in the spices, salt, baking soda, and apples.
Ad the remaining ingredients... flour, raisins, nuts... and stir in. Pour into pans, and bake at 350 degrees for 1-1/2 hours. Cool for at least 15 minutes.
