Fried Beets with Bacon (1976)

  • 2 lbs beets
  • 2 strips bacon
  • Salt and pepper
Cut off tops and wash beets. Boil in water until tender, then peel and dice.

Fry bacon and crumble. Add beets to bacon grease and fry lightly. Salt and pepper to taste. 

Garnish with crumbled bacon.
